RTO Compliance Week

Why should I attend the RTO Webinar Week?

The quality and the integrity of RTOs have been publicly questioned in recent weeks. The transition towards a self-assurance approach is now contrasted with some alarming results published by ASQA. The fact that over 75% of RTOs audited last financial year failed to meet regulatory requirements, creates a sense of urgency for a stronger response from RTOs.

Compliance continues to be the biggest risk for RTO managers. The RTO legislative framework is complex and difficult to navigate. Some elements of the legislative tools used by regulators overlap here and there, producing confusion and uncertainty among RTO managers, trainers, and admin staff.

About this RTO Webinar Week

The fact that the integrity and quality of RTOs have been questioned, is a strong indication that gaps in RTO compliance programs have been detected by ASQA and other regulators. The RTO Compliance Week 2023 will provide you with insights, tools and solutions to fill these gaps, and prepare you for the biggest regulatory change of the last decade expected in 2024.

You will learn, over nine live sessions, delivered over five consecutive days, how to deal with issues of academic integrity, create quality online courses, effectively manage course duration, develop a strong RPL process, respond to changes in CRICOS RTOs requirements, manage trainers and assessors, and support RTO Governance through self-assessment and continuous improvement activities.

What will I take away from this event?

Each session has been designed to provide you and your team with a proactive perspective, including practical samples of best practices and access to relevant case scenarios.

Throughout the week you will have the opportunity to interact and ask questions to our CEO and RTO consultant: Javier Amaro, who has been successfully working in the RTO space since the first AQTF was established and experienced the continuous changes to RTO compliance requirements since 2001. On Friday you will have the opportunity to interact with representatives from the recently appointed Job and Skills Councils and ask questions about the future of training packages.

By the end of the webinar week, you will walk away with the tools and the confidence to review and update your RTO organisational setting to effectively manage quality, compliance and continuous improvement.
