with Confidence

About This Workshop
Reduce stress, cut risk, and achieve a smooth ASQA renewal. Practical steps for managers and compliance teams to align your QMS for renewal.
You’ll break down the four Quality Areas and what “meeting the standard” looks like at re‑registration. We’ll translate the wording into evidence you can pull from your RTO quality management system (QMS), aligning documentation and practice to outcomes‑based compliance: governance accountabilities, risk controls, assessment tools, validation and student support records.
Using a guided self‑assessment, you’ll build an audit‑ready evidence map and a prioritised action plan. We’ll cover systematic monitoring and evaluation, stakeholder feedback, and how to turn findings into continuous improvement. Delivered live online with checklists, real examples and Q&A, so you leave with clear next steps for renewal.

Objective
Learning
By the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:
.
- Given the Outcome Standards 2025 framework, summarise the intent of each Quality Area and nominate at least two suitable evidence sources per area from their RTO QMS.
- Using a supplied self‑assessment checklist, rate current alignment against priority standards and justify each rating with documented evidence references (policy/procedure/record).
- Using an evidence‑mapping template, build a re‑registration evidence map covering all key areas with clear ownership, version control, and storage location identified for each item.
- From a practical scenario, outline a monitoring and evaluation plan that specifies a minimum of four data/feedback sources, frequency, and reporting pathway to support continuous improvement.
Application
Following the webinar, participants will be able to implement the learning by:
- Within 30 days, updating governance delegations/role statements in the QMS and briefing relevant staff, with documented acknowledgement captured
- Within 45 days, implementing or refreshing a risk register and risk treatment plan aligned to governance expectations, with quarterly review dates scheduled.
- Within 60 days, applying an internal audit tool to check compliance before re-registration application.
- Within 90 days, running one continuous improvement cycle: collect stakeholder feedback, log actions in a CI register, and close at least 80% of actions by agreed due dates.
Impact
After implementation, the organisation should be able to measure business impact through targets such as:
- Time: Target a 25% reduction in time spent collating re‑registration evidence in the next renewal cycle, using a maintained evidence map and clear document controls.
- Quality: Target a 30% reduction in internal audit findings linked to governance, risk, and assessment within six months.
- Customer service: Target a 10% improvement in learner satisfaction results within six months, supported by stronger student support and consistent delivery controls.
- Reputation: Target a 10% improvement in employer/industry confidence indicators within 12 months, driven by tighter industry engagement and more reliable assessment outcomes.
Who should attend?
- RTO CEOs, Executive Officers and Senior Managers responsible for re‑registration/renewal
- Compliance Managers/Officers and Quality Managers
- Training Managers, Heads of Department, Program Leads
- Lead Trainers and Assessors (especially those overseeing assessment systems)
- Staff managing third‑party delivery, partnerships, or subcontracted services
Why you need to attend this webinar
Elevate compliance, quality, and operational efficiency across your RTO with specialised, targeted training designed by industry-leading experts.
This session is built for the real-world pressure of RTO re‑registration: competing priorities, scattered evidence, inconsistent assessment practices, unclear governance roles, and “we think we do this… but can we prove it?”. You’ll replace guesswork with a practical, structured approach that strengthens your QMS, clarifies accountabilities, and makes your evidence easy to find, defend, and improve over time.
You’ll walk away with a clear plan to:
- reduce last‑minute renewal stress and compliance risk
- tighten governance, risk controls, and reporting lines
- strengthen assessment quality and consistency across trainers/locations
- turn feedback and monitoring into documented, defensible improvement
- build confidence that your RTO can demonstrate outcomes—not just intentions
