About This Webinar
Spot red flags, harden governance, and protect qualifications from integrity attacks.
Bad-faith operators are industrialising shortcuts—non-genuine RPL, “short course” delivery, and cheating—eroding trust in national qualifications. Since late 2024, ASQA has cancelled 15 providers and over 29,000 qualifications/statements tied to fraudulent issuance
What Will I Learn?
You’ll unpack ASQA’s current qualification integrity posture and the risk signals tied to non-genuine providers, RPL abuse, shortened duration models, academic integrity breaches, and questionable marketing and recruitment ecosystems.
You’ll walk away with a practical “Integrity Firewall” playbook: governance controls, third-party/agent due diligence, RPL defensibility gates, assessment authenticity controls, and escalation pathways that protect your scope, your learners, and your brand. We’ll anchor actions to Outcome Standards expectations on integrity/accountability and risk management, and map uplift actions to a Workforce Capability Framework lens so your team capability scales with the threat landscape.
Delivery is fast-paced and operational: short case your QMS, and a risk-based prioritisation approach aligned to self-assurance and continuous improvement.

Application
Impact
- Identify at least five bad-factors given ASQA integrity risk themes and your own operations so that each indicator is categorised by likelihood/impact in a simple risk matrix.
- Differentiate genuine vs non-genuine RPL pathways using rules of evidence and RPL decision requirements to produce a defensible RPL gate checklist.
- Apply academic integrity controls when reviewing assessment evidence sources to document authenticity checks and escalation triggers consistently.
- Map key controls to Outcome Standards governance and risk expectations using your QMS structure to produce a one-page “Integrity Firewall” control map.
- Implement a third-party/agent due diligence workflow within 30 days so that every referral channel is risk-rated and approved before enrolment activity proceeds.
- Employ checkpoints for every RPL enquiry so that non-genuine applications are exited early with documented reasons.
- Deploy an assessment authenticity protocol (plagiarism + evidence provenance + validation loop) across priority qualifications so that exceptions are detected and actioned within defined timeframes.
- Run a quarterly integrity “table-top exercise” with managers/trainers/admin so that escalation, reporting, and corrective actions are rehearsed and measurable.
- Reduce integrity suspect RPL, cheating, broker pressure) by a measurable percentage within two quarters through standardised controls and monitoring.
- Increase defensible assessment/RPL outcomes so that audit findings related to authenticity/currency decrease over the next cycle.
- Improve stakeholder confidence (employers/learners) so that complaints and reputational risk indicators trend downward quarter-on-quarter.
- Strength assurance so that the RTO can evidence risk-based decision making and continuous improvement in board/exec reporting.

Why you need to attend this webinar
This isn’t theoretical exposure. Since late 2024, ASQA has cancelled 15 providers and over 29,000 qualifications/statements of attainment, impacting 26,000+ individuals. That level of sector disruption reshapes learner expectations, recruiter behaviour, and the operational risk profile of every legitimate RTO.
If your RTO doesn’t actively distance itself from bad-faith ecosystems (dodgy RPL pipelines, “too-fast-to-be-true” courses, plagiarism-friendly assessment cultures), you inherit reputational drag, staff pressure, and compliance heat-by-proximity. This session shows how to isolate the threat, harden your controls, and demonstrate visible integrity leadership.
This webinar helps you reinforce your operating model: tighten governance, de-risk third parties, harden RPL and assessment decision points, and create a visible “we don’t play that game” posture that protects your brand, learner outcomes, and long-term viability.
